KATHMANDU
Kathmandu's nickname is the city with the thousand temples. In this city you can really see how the Hindu religion plays a part in peoples everyday life. Also it is highly populated so public transportation could give you the ride of a lifetime.
JIRI
Jiri is a small village up in the mountains. This is the area where Sudip is from. Another two days of walking would take you to his birthplace.

CHITWAN
Chitwan is situated a little bit more south from the capital and is a lot warmer. Here you find "Chitwan National Park" where they offer elephant rides and jeep safaries into the jungle. If you are lucky you might see a wild tiger...
DOLAKHA
Dolakha is a small village in Nepal and is about a one day drive from Kathmandu. The roads are not good and we thank the Lord every time we make it there and back, but the people and the church there is precious and worth the drive.
NAWALPARASI
Nawalparasi also gives you more of a village feeling. The air is fresh and there are banana fields everywhere. These pictures are from a ministry trip to a church in that area.
